Karachi bus attack:43 killed in attack on bus carrying Ismailis in Karachi

KARACHI: At least 43 people were killed and 13 others wounded on Wednesday when armed men opened fire inside a bus carrying members of the Ismaili community near Safoora Chowk in Karachi.

Between four and six gunmen riding motorcycles pulled up alongside bus

They stormed the vehicle and shot at passengers from point blank range

At least 43 members of the Ismaili Shi'ite minority died and 13 were injured

Pakistani Taliban splinter group has claimed responsibility and vowed similar attacks on other Shi'ite groups and Christians 'in the coming days.
